Like the rest of California, San Diego is a heavily populated urban area with little room to build huge truck stops with showers , hotels, restaurants, etc.. There are a couple of full service truck stops along the border, but a lot of the trucking companies in the area fuel at commercial fuel stations which are truck stops without all the amenities.
Fuel Cards Accepted At San Diego Truck Stops
All of these San Diego truck stops are part of the commercial fueling network (CFN) so by default, if you have a CFN fuel card you can buy fuel at all these locations. Most of these locations will also accept the Comdata fuel card.
Other fuel cards such as WEX, Voyager, EFS, Fleet One, and Fuelman are accepted at some of these San Diego truck stops. You just need to call the number of the location to make sure your fuel card is accepted.
