What Is A CFN Cardlock Station?

A CFN cardlock station is a commercial fuel station that is part of the CFN network. CFN stations are considered cardlock locations, which are specifically made for commercial use.

What CFN Stations Have That Regular Gas Stations Don’t

18-Wheel Access

Most CFN fuel stations have wide lanes and large turnabouts to accommodate all vehicle sizes. Drivers can easily get in, get fuel, and get out without making 3-point turns, unhooking trailers, etc..

Dual Pumps

CFN stations have dual pumps, so drivers who operate trucks with dual tanks can fill both tanks at the same the time.

DEF at The Pump

Some CFN fuel stations have Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) at the pump. This enables drivers to fill their DEF tanks at the same time they fill their diesel tanks. In the future, more CFN sites will have DEF at the pump as the demand for DEF grows and DEF pump technology improves.

High Flow Diesel Pumps

The majority of pumps at a standard CFN site are diesel because most large commercial vehicles have diesel engines.  High flow commercial grade diesel dispensers pump at 32 gallons per minute while your standard gas dispenser pumps roughly 11 gallons per minute.

Red Dyed Diesel

Some CFN stations carry state and federal excise tax free diesel for vehicles that have refrigerated trailer tanks or off road construction equipment. This will save you roughly  $.30 to $1.00 per gallon depending on what state you live in.
