This video will show you how to inactivate or activate a CFN fuel card. This will help when you turn off fuel card when a driver quits, a card is lost, or you simply want to pause a card while a driver is on vacation.
It’s important to note this same process works for deleting driver pins for floating pin accounts. A floating pin account is where you assign every driver their own pin number and the actual fuel card stays in the vehicle.
Step 1: Select the “cards” link
Once you login to your online account select the “cards” link on the homepage.
Step 2: Enter Last 7 digits of card number and select activate/inactivate
In the box on the bottom the screen enter the last 7 digits of the card number and select the “inactivate” button if you want inactivate the card or the “activate” button if you want to activate the card.
If you don’t know the card number proceed to step 3.
Step 3: If you don’t have card number, search for card
Choose “show all cards” from the radio buttons above the “go to card ” box and press the “go” button. This will give you a list of all your fuel cards.
Step 4: Select card in search results and invalidate/validate card
Select the card you are looking for by clicking on the appropriate card number link. Towards the bottom of the screen select “invalidate” and hit the “update” to invalidate a card. Select “validate” and hit “update” to validate a card.
