From highways to cul-de-sacs to elementary school blacktops, paving companies do it all. With such a wide range of uses for their services, paving companies need to make sure that their equipment is ready to meet their customer’s various needs. Meaning, that fuel for their equipment needs to always be within reach.
Controls
CFN offers the highest level of controls of any fuel card on the market. Fully customizable to a company’s particular needs, a CFN card’s use can be limited so that it can only be used at certain times of day, on certain days of the week, for particular fuel types by only a select number of people. As a result, it is very difficult for someone to use a CFN card for anything other than company related activities.
Red Dyed Diesel
A lot of what a paving company does involves the use of vehicles that aren’t used to drive from point A to point B. As a result, paving companies have the opportunity to take advantage of dyed diesel. The same as regular, clear diesel in every way aside from the color dyed diesel is sold tax free and restricted to off-road use only. So then, depending on the state, dyed diesel is sold at nearly a dollar less! Click to learn more about dyed diesel pricing.
18 wheel access
There’s no mistaking that the vehicles and machinery used to form roads, build playgrounds and more are very, very large. Which is why it isn’t always so easy for them to turn into a corner Chevron station that is built to service mini vans and sedans. CFN, on the other hand, was built with large vehicles in mind. Which is why each and every station is equipped to handle the largest vehicles on and off the road.
DEF Access
Since 2010, all diesel trucks and other assorted equipment have been outfitted with a DEF tank. So a truck as large as one as a paving company would use, it is crucial that DEF be easily accessed at the pump. Thankfully, CFN offers DEF at the pump at a variety of their locations. Separate Invoice by Department
We at CNRG Fleet know it better than anyone, but fuel card invoices are sometimes documents with overwhelming amounts of information. That’s why we offer to split up the invoice into more bite-sized chunks. Then, under a company’s direction, send those chunks to the department interested in receiving a certain portion. As an example, when CNRG Fleet separates an invoice by department we’ll most often send the bill to accounting and the purchase information (time, place, person) to the fleet manager.
